Σύμφωνα με μια καινούρια έρευνα, ένας στους δύο γονείς χρησιμοποιεί τα social media για να κατασκοπεύει τα παιδιά του. Και θα ήταν δύο στους δυο αν αυτός ο δεύτερος ήξερε πως να το κάνει.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της έρευνας ερωτήθηκαν 2000 Βρετανοί γονείς και τα αποτελέσματα ήταν τα εξής:

• το 55% των συμμετεχόντων χρησιμοποιεί τα social media για να παρακολουθεί την δραστηριότητα των παιδιών του
• ένα επιπλέον 5% θα έκανε το ίδιο αν ήξερε πως να τα χειριστεί
• ένα 11% έχει κάνει προφίλ στο Facebook μόνο και μόνο με αυτό τον σκοπό
• το 13% των ερωτηθέντων απάντησε πως έχει μπει στο Facebook από προφίλ φίλων του για να τσεκάρει τους απογόνους του

Συγκεκριμένα οι περισσότεροι οδηγήθηκαν σε αυτή την ενέργεια αφού έστειλαν αίτημα φιλίας στα παιδιά τους και εκείνα τους απέρριψαν.
