Υλικά:
- 300 γρ. βούτυρο αγελάδος Lurpak
- 1 κουταλάκι του γλυκού μπέικιν πάουντερ
- 110 γρ। ζάχαρη άχνη
- 600 γρ. αλεύρι ΟΛΑ Μύλοι Αγίου Γεωργίου
- 25 γρ. φρέσκο χυμό πορτοκαλιού
- 10 γρ. αλάτι χονδρό
- 10 γρ. φρεσκοτριμμένο πιπέρι
- χονδρή ζάχαρη για το ρολλάρισμα
Εκτέλεση:
Χτυπάμε στο μίξερ το βούτυρο με την άχνη σε δυνατή ταχύτητα για περίπου 20 λεπτά. (Όσο περισσότερο το χτυπάμε τόσο καλύτερη θα γίνει η ζύμη.) Ρίχνουμε το αλεύρι, το μπέικιν, το αλάτι και το πιπέρι στο χτυπημένο βούτυρο σταδιακά. Προσθέτουμε το χυμό πορτοκαλιού και συνεχίζουμε το χτύπημα για άλλα 10 λεπτά. Πλάθουμε τους κουραμπιέδες σε μπαστούνια, τους ρολλάρουμε μέσα στη χονδρή ζάχαρη και τα κόβουμε σε ροδέλες ανά 1-1,5 εκ. Τα τοποθετούμε στη λαμαρίνα του φούρνου και τα ψήνουμε σε προθερμασμένο φούρνο στους 170οC για 20 λεπτά.
Αν θέλουμε να τους κάνουμε γλυκούς παραλείπουμε το αλάτι και το πιπέρι και προσθέτουμε 200 γρ. αμύγδαλα χοντροκομμένα και καβουρντισμένα και ζάχαρη άχνη για το ρολλάρισμα.
