- 200 γρ. χυμός πορτοκαλιού
- 280 γρ. ελαιόλαδο
- 600 γρ. αλεύρι ΟΛΑ Μύλοι Αγίου Γεωργίου
- ½ κουτ. του γλυκού σόδα
- ¼ κουτ. του γλυκού κανέλα
- 1 πρέζα γαρύφαλλο
- ξύσμα από 1 πορτοκάλι
- καρύδια χοντροκομμένα
- μέλι για το μέλωμα
Παρασκευή
Σ’ ένα βαθύ σκεύος ανακατεύουμε το χυμό πορτοκαλιού και το ελαιόλαδο. Προσθέτουμε τα μυρωδικά. Ανακατεύουμε με το χέρι και προσθέτουμε το αλεύρι. Συνεχίζουμε απαλά το ανακάτεμα με το χέρι από το κέντρο προς τα έξω έτσι ώστε να μην «κορδώσει» η ζύμη (δεν χρειάζεται πολύ ανακάτεμα για να μη σφίξει). Πλάθουμε τα μελομακάρονα σε μικρές στρογγυλές μπάλες και τις πιέζουμε με την παλάμη μας προς τα κάτω.
